Welcome to Smartprocessdesign.com!

My name is Jason and I’m a young process designer; that’s a job in the field of  chemical engineering. I specialize in helping organizations select and fit together the major equipment and steps in the process of any chemical, industrial, biochemical, refining, or nuclear process. This means in addition to doing chemical engineering, I get to work with all sorts of other professionals in engineering and technology, business people, project managers, and lawyers.

I want to share some tools and techniques to help you work smarter, faster, and easier, whether it’s doing engineering design for a safety relief valve, writing a business proposal, making a chart in Excel, or putting a team together to build a website. The focus is certainly going to be on chemical engineering, where I can add the most value. But I know the blog is going to branch out enough to be of interest to people in other fields.
